From parks and condos to Kaimuki: how our studio came to be

Our Kaimuki studio didn't appear overnight. It's the result of more than a decade of coaching wherever clients needed us.

The early days

When I started coaching in 2010, I went wherever the sessions were: private condos, home training, other studios, the park. If someone wanted to train, I showed up.

Kakaako

As the client base grew, we leased space in a Kakaako gym from a fellow business owner. For a year or two that space let us build something more consistent, and a loyal group of clients came with us.

Opening our own doors

In the middle of COVID, in July 2021, we opened our first brick-and-mortar studio in Kaimuki. It was a big risk at a strange time, and we've been here ever since.

Studio life today

Today the studio is home to a team of coaches, small groups, semi-private sessions and private 1-on-1 training. A few things make it feel like ours:

  • Small sessions, so coaches actually know your name and your goals
  • 50-minute sessions that fit before or after work
  • Paid parking in the Kaimuki municipal lots (pay by card at the lot), with two entrances on 12th Ave and one on 11th Ave
  • A space built for strength training, not crowds

You'll find us at 1127 11th Ave, Ste 202. Come see it for yourself: book a free strategy call and we'll plan your first visit.
